The International Audio Society of Japan is a fully-fledged audio organization formed by the Imported Audio Association. Its goal is to disseminate and develop internationally superior audio equipment and products.This voluntary association is made up of companies that import or produce video products.We support the development of Japan's audio industry by participating in activities like regular meetings, exchanges of information, and interactions with other organizations, both at home and abroad.Tokyo International Audio Show is the main event, held each fall by all members. The first event, the "Import Audio Show", was held in 1983. The venue moved to the Tokyo International Forum in 1997, which was the 15th anniversary of the event.The event has been renamed "Tokyo International Audio Show". It now features not only the leading Japanese audio brands but also imported audio companies. The International Audio Society of Japan is a voluntary organization of importers and producers of advanced audio products. Our goal is to promote distribution and innovation of high-quality audio products and devices. Our previous name was the Society of Consumer Audio Equipment Distributors.We support the development of Japan’s audio market through regular meetings, information sharing, keeping in touch with Japanese and international organizations that share similar goals, and by engaging in other activities.Tokyo International Audio Show, held annually in the autumn, is our most important event. The attendance is now over 10,000 visitors per year. The Show gathers 35 corporate members and displays products from 200 different brands. Import Audio Show was the original name of this event, which began in 1983. The 15th annual event was first held at the Tokyo International Forum in 1997. The shows featured imported audio products before 1997, but now they also feature the best audio brands from Japan.
